Mary Aranas is E-RYT 500-hour certified in ISHTA Yoga, and has taught full-time since 2002. With a theater, dance, and martial arts background, Mary's Vinyasa style is flowing. Her Restoratives are a special treat. Infusing Chakra exploration in her teaching, Mary honors diverse lineages, with joy and healing as her guiding principles. In her classes Mary uses yantra, mantra, meditation, pranayama and vinyasa, grounding her students strongly in alignment, then releasing them into their power, freedom and beauty. Her Restorative classes combine aromatherapy, music, and healing touch. In 2008, Mary became one of only 125 certified AcroYoga® teachers worldwide. Her Thai massage practice and AcroYoga® performance partnerships are an endless source of inspiration. Mary lives in New York city with her actor husband and son.
Mary Aranas is 500-hour E-RYT ISHTA trained, certified by Alan Finger in 2002. Since then, Mary has taught Yoga full-time, in privates, classes. retreats, workshops. In 2008, Mary was AcroYoga® certified by co-founders Jason Nemer and Jenny Sauer-Klein. And in 2009, Mary received Thai Yoga Massage certification from Jennifer Yarro’s New England School of Thai Yoga. Mary lives in NYC with her son Raphael and husband Raul, and her ever-expanding, joyfully infinite yogic family.
