Angie Stewart, a Savannah, Georgia native, comes from a competitive sports background including cross country, swimming, volleyball, basketball, and ballet. Her talents in running granted her a 4-year scholarship to Georgia Southern University where her education led to a Masters in Public Health. In addition to this degree, Stewart holds the following certificates: National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as a Certified Personal Trainer, and through NASM she also holds the Optimum Performance Training Certification for the Prenatal Client.
In addition to being a certified Hatha Yoga instructor, Angie is also certified for Yoga for Kids and Pre/Post Natal Yoga.
Currently Angie trains clients in strength, core and athletic conditioning and teaches yoga on daily basis in Beverly Hills, as well a 50 person plus weekly Run and Yoga Club.
Angie's ability in motivational public speaking, and her level of personal fitness and integrity, have earned her a slew of nationally recongized endorsement opportunities including, lululemon athletica Elite Ambassador, Luna Bars and Active Lifestyles Brands - specifically Smart Water and Vitaminwater.
Angie can be seen found on Exercise TV, in Runner's World, 944 Magazine, OK! Magazine, Angeleno, Daily News Los Angeles and numerous other media venues showcasing her signature yoga fitness fusion and her nationally touted creation Runner's Yoga 90210™.
Angie believes in “brightening paths, lightening loads and lifting hearts through fitness.”
She has volunteered over 400 hours throughout the world, bringing yoga and fitness to Roatan, Honduras, the Phoenix Fire Department, Venice, California’s Coeur d’Alene Elementary school, the El Hogar Orphanage in Tijuana, Mexico and the Downtown Women’s Center in Los Angeles. She continues to work closely with Generosity Water, a non-profit organzation building wells in Africa for access to clean water.
