Agustin, a former professional athlete, first discovered yoga as a form of therapy while traveling in Hong Kong. Immediately drawn to yoga, he then began to intensively study Hatha Yoga in Argentina and soon became a teacher. Upon moving to the U.S., Agustin began teaching full time at multiple studios and also created large scale community service projects, offering free public classes for the first time ever in the City of Miami.
In 2004, Agustin traveled to New York City and completed an Ashtanga training with Sri K. Pattabi Jois. During this same trip, he also met Sri Dharma Mittra and began studying with him daily. Agustin has continously practiced and studied with Dharma Mittra for the past 7 years.
Agustin has studied multiple forms of yoga including - Hatha, Ashtanga, Acro-Yoga, and Thai Massage as well as creating his own style of yoga in honor of Sri Dharma Mittra, Hatha Raja Yoga.
A native Spanish speaker currently based in New York, Agustin loves to travel the world sharing yoga. Weaving both the modern application and the traditional teachings into his classes, with students, teachers, and enthusiasts the world over.
